Spatiul destinat odihnei, dormitorul, nu trebuie sa fie doar functional, ci sa aiba si o ambianta deosebita si primitoare. Elementul de mobilier central din cadrul dormitorului este patul. Pe linga pat, un loc important in dormitor, il ocupa spatiul de depozitare. Conceput ca un loc compact in marea majoritate a cazurilor, dormitorul devine uneori spatiul principal de depozitare din apartament, mai ales atunci cind nu exista un loc suplimentar pentru un dresing. Configurarea spatiala a dormitorului depinde in cea mai mare parte de dimensionarea sa, iar in cazul in care aceasta camera are dimensiuni reduse este vital ca alegerea gabaritului, pozitiei si materialelor din care este facut mobilierul sa nu incarce spatiul in mod exagerat.
La acest dormitor am continuat pe o cromatica calda fara stridente inutile. Mobilierul, mai ales patul, este singurul element de contrast pe care am vrut sa-l scot in evidenta.
Dresingul foloseste la maxim inaltimea dormitorului si bineinteles si spatiul alocat depozitarii. Pentru o mai buna optimizare a spatiului am propus usile culisante pe care am aplicat oglinzi. Nu am incarcat spatiul cu mult mobilier si nici cu multe elemente decorative, am dorit sa creez un ambient placut, linistitor, un spatiu in care odihna e solutia ideala dupa o zi incarcata.

The spacing destined for resting, the bedroom, has to be not only functional, but also to have a special and hospitable environment. The central piece of furniture of the bedroom is obviously the bed. Besides the bed, an important place in the bedroom is occupied by the storage place. Conceived as a compact space in the majority of cases, the bedroom becomes sometimes the main storage place of the whole apartment, asspecialy when there is no extra place for a dressing. The spatial configuration of the bedroom depends mostly on it’s size. For a small bedroom it’s vital to choose the right kind of materials and furniture, as well as a special attention payed to the placement of the furniture inside the room so that it doesn’t appear overloaded.
In this particular case we continued in the same warm chromatic colours, without any useless harshness as in the rest of the apartement. The bed is the only piece of furniture that comes as an element of contrast, the only one we intended to bring to the attention.
The dressing uses the hight of the room at it’s maximum and of course the whole space that was destined for storage. Gliding (sliding) doors were suggested for a better optimization of the space and mirrors were applied to the doors. The space has not been crowded with any other useless pieces of furniture or decorations. It was intended to create a pleasunt and peacefull environment, a space in wich rest is the solution after a busy day.
